Objective, independent, science-driven analysis for global decision-makers.
Global Strategic Corridors Institute (GSCI) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research institution whose mission is to provide policymakers with objective information and rigorous scientific analysis. We deliver independent perspectives untouched by political or commercial pressures — perspectives that may help leaders make the best possible decisions.
Today's world faces complex challenges — natural and human-made alike, from climate change to diverse energy crises. Our work is to provide the most objective, scientific reference possible through the broadest collaborative research and analysis, drawing on wide-ranging practical experience to help improve policy and enable better decision-making.
Scientific decision-making can make the world better and benefit all nations and all people.
GSCI's team draws from experts across different countries and disciplines — natural sciences, frontier research, policy analysis, data statistics, capital management, law, investment, communications, and operations. We recruit local researchers wherever our projects are located to ensure our findings reflect ground-level realities.
Our funding comes from government grants, international organizations, universities, research institutions, professional associations, other nonprofits, philanthropies, and the relevant private sector. This diverse funding base is the fundamental guarantee of our research independence.
Beyond our core research, we deliver rigorous, high-quality, forward-looking tailored services: strategic development planning, project evaluation & optimization, risk assessment & analysis, cost control & benefit analysis, policy analysis & strategy, performance measurement & monitoring, and technology assessment & development.
We never defer to authority. We fully embrace humanity's latest science and technology, focus on the world's peaceful progress and sustainable development, and strive to ensure all research outputs are simultaneously forward-looking in science and technology and practically implementable in engineering.
Registered at 121 Richmond St W, Suite 1000, Toronto, ON, Canada — at the heart of one of the world's most multicultural cities, giving GSCI natural access to global talent networks and international diplomatic communities.

To ensure our research reports reflect local realities as accurately as possible — and to test and advance the practical applicability of our findings — GSCI recruits a number of Assistant Researchers for each project, who work alongside GSCI researchers throughout the project lifecycle.
These positions are typically open to current Master's students or recent graduates in relevant fields. The activity is usually conducted in partnership with universities and research institutions in the project region.
Through this programme, GSCI aims to provide local young scholars with a high-level work practice and continuing education opportunity, while cultivating local researchers for the long-term implementation of our projects.
Embedded research roles for Master's-level students and graduates, co-designed with local universities.
Opportunities span the Middle East, North America, Central Asia, China, and the Caribbean.
Programmes conducted in collaboration with partner institutions in the project region, ensuring local knowledge and long-term impact.
Work at the intersection of natural sciences, policy, data analysis, and engineering for real-world solutions.
GSCI closely monitors major global security challenges and the issues most debated by peers worldwide. We read every message and aim to respond within one week.
